| Cynthia Garner has captured the essence of
the mother/child bond and placed it on the pages of a wonderful book called From My
Mommy Being With Me. Garner traces the life of a child beginning at birth. She moves
through the stages of growing up, pointing out how influential a mother can be in even the
simplest of ways. |

This book will warm the
readers heart with memories of their own childhood, of times when a single touch or
a simple glance from Mom could make everything seem alright again. Each page illustrates
how even the mundane daily tasks of motherhood all come together to help mold and shape
the person our child becomes.
Particularly moving are the passages
describing a childs first day of school, wedding day, and then finally becoming an
adult, still hearing her mothers voice guiding her. Then, the child becomes a mother
herself, fully prepared to pass on the legacy of love and lessons that her mother so
lovingly gave.
This wonderful book is perfect for
children, mothers, and grandmothers alike. I highly recommend it to anyone who has a
mother, is a mother, or loves a mother.
