This can be a fun
afternoon project for your and your kids, and seeing their school
friends "hanging around" can brighten their weekends when
there aren't others to play with.
(1) Just cut some shapes out of empty
cereal boxes and cut holes large
enough to frame a face or two in the center of each. You'll need
two of
each shape.
(2) Let your children decorate the
shapes with pens, crayons, glitter and
anything else you can think of.
(3) Then turn a pair of shapes
brown/gray side up and slip a picture between
them. Use stick glue to secure the photo to the cardboard.
(4) When the glue is dry simply punch a
hole in the top and thread ribbon or
even dental floss through it.
(5) Used popsicle sticks, spray-painted
twigs or even wire coat hangers make
great crossbars for the mobile, as long as Mommy ties the knots so
they stay
together and the pictures hang securely from them.
