New
Years Celebrations Around the World
All around the world people celebrate the
coming of a new year and time with traditions from their country. Although
the celebrations are not always held on the same day, they often include
traditions of religious celebrations, special prayers and blessings,
beautiful costume parties and parades of celebration.

Planning
Now for the New Year
Having home business success in the New Year means you need to
plan now. Here are Coach Fayerweather's tips on how to plan and
implement the plan.
Get Ready
To Set Goals in January
December tends to be a hectic time for most of us and before we know it
January is upon us. Your thoughts may then turn to the goals you're going to
set yourself during next year.
Let's
Make 'New' New Year Resolutions
It is nearly time to start thinking about New Year Resolutions. Perhaps a
little bit early, but the resolutions I have in mind may involve a little
more time and effort than usual.
History
of Modern New Year's Celebrations
The tradition of celebrating the beginning of the New Year actually dates
back as early as approximately 2000 B.C. - about 4000 years ago. The ancient
Babylonians would begin an 11 day celebration with the first day of the New
Moon after the Vernal Equinox (beginning of Spring). This was also known as
Akitu. The purpose was to celebrate the Spring rains and the renewal of
nature as well as of the people in the community.
Lazy
Gourmet Super Bowl Favorites
If there's anything for the non-sports
fans during football season, it's the food. What better way to get in on the
excitement than with a scrumptious menu of all your cold weather favorites.
Park your tight-end on the couch and dig in!
